Gettysburg National Battlefield,
Summation: This was the first of a two-day investigation at the famous Gettysberg National Battlefield in PA. At 7:00 PM Investigator Mark J. began the evening's investigation at The Triangular Field with his brother William J., a Civil War re-enactor. At 7:45 PM he caught the smell of burning wood which lasted for only two seconds and was not repeated. At 8:00 PM he had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth Matusiak, author of The Battlefield Dead series of books which cover the hauntings of Gettysburg. Also present was Hildred Robinette, an experienced ghost hunter and psychic from New Jersey. Together the three of them began investigating a section of East Confederate Avenue at the base of Big Round Top. Several times during the investigation Hildred saw forms moving in the nearby woods. At 9:22 PM she said she saw a white figure standing to the left of a nearby tree. Mark snapped a picture and captured an orb in the spot where she saw the white figure.
