Undisclosed Business - Northern NJ

History: We have omitted the name and location of this business at the request of the clients.  The building was originally built as a residence in the 1780's and served as a family home for many years before being converted into a business location.  Historical research has revealed that a little girl was murdered in the building in 1788, although more detailed information has been difficult to find.  The building has served as a variety of business over the years including an antique store, and in earlier times, a brothel. 

Activity Reported: Both past and present owners of the building have claimed to have heard the voice of a little girl singing or crying upstairs, while employees as well as customers have seen the apparition of a little girl with a blue dress and a blue bow in her hair standing at the top of the stairs.  Employees constantly feel cold spots even in the summer, and the owner has witnessed doors opening and closing on their own.

Investigation Summation: This turned out to be a very active location.  During our investigation almost every member of the NJPR team felt as if there was a definite presence in the building that we could track as it moved from room to room.  The building exhibited an extremely high amount of EMF due to older wiring.  However, the electricity was turned off during our investigation, yet the sensations experienced by the team fluctuated throughout the evening as if a presence entered a room and then would leave.  We were able to track it's movement from room to room, and it appeared as if it were attempting to evade our presence.  Two team members heard an audible sigh between them while they were alone in the attic.  Another team member seemed to encounter an invisible force as he descended the stairs that pushed him back up the stairs.

Follow-Up: On January 23rd NJPR invited noted psychic Patty Lehman to come to this location to see what impressions she could pick up that could validate the client's experiences as well as the history of the building.  During her walk-through Patty correctly identified the main area where employees and customers have experienced the most activity.  She was able to come up with the name "Sally" for the female spirit.  This is significant in that the client and her staff had come to call the female spirit "Sally" on their own.  We made sure that the psychic did not know this information before hand.  Patty also identified a male spirit that the client had not previously experienced, but which we were able to back-up through EVP evidence.  She also correctly deduced that the building had been used as a brothel in the past.

	A large, bright orb appears in the attic and drastically changes direction.   8:40 PM - Mark J.
	An unexplained light appears to the left of the frame for a few seconds, then vanishes.  Although there was a lot of traffic driving past the building throughout the evening, no car lights penetrated up into the attic.  This was the only time the light appeared during the entire investigation, although our team did have several experiences in the attic later in the investigation.  8:42 PM - Mark J.
