History
This gorgeous home dates back to the mid-1800's and has served as both a residence and a hotel over the years. The attic still contains the old hotel rooms with the room numbers still on the doors, while out on the property is a giant building which used to house an old dance hall, casino, and a speak-easy during prohibition. The clients have experienced paranormal activity over the years in the form of footsteps, uneasy feelings of being watched, and seeing shadows out of the corner of their eyes.
Investigation
During our investigation the team felt more than one presence in the house -- a little 5-year old girl named Caroline and another of an older, angrier man. While the house itself felt mostly quiet during our time there we did capture an unusually high amount of EVP's. While investigating the old dance hall/casino the team saw unexplained flashes of light and shadows, as well as strange knocks and taps.

Note: Most researchers do not consider orb photos evidence of paranormal activity. Airborne particles such as dust, pollen and moisture can cause "false positives". While we agree that most "orbs" can be explained naturally, we have found in our research that a small percentage of "orbs" do seem to correlate to paranormal activity. | As the team moves out to the old casino, Joanne asks if anything was left upstairs. Mark comments that his camera is still upstairs. This is followed by an unusual whisper. What makes this EVP unique is that the whisper is undecipherable when played normally, but when it is played backwards is appears to say, "That's what I'm saying." | In the living room Mark and Joanne attempt to get a little girl spirit named Caroline to go upstairs and pull on the pants of Investigator Loren. Just as Mark says, "Go ahead, we won't tell", another loud male voice says something we can't quite make out. A few seconds later another voice says, "There's something behind me. These voice do not belong to any of our team. | |
